200 feet above the UC Berkeley campus, a mother and son react to twelve strokes of the bells of "The Campanile" at high noon. Rising 307 feet, it's the world's third-largest clock tower, with a 61-bell carillon. The bells weigh between 19 and 10,500 pounds. Information about the tower and carillon may be found online at The Campanile at Berkeley.
